Optional drive to the Pakistan-China border at 4,733 meters. Note: access depends on seasonal opening dates (usually April 1).
Begin the journey south. Stop at the Rakaposhi viewpoint and visit the local bazaar in Gilgit before continuing to Chilas.
Drive back to Islamabad. Visit the UNESCO World Heritage site of Taxila and its museum. Farewell dinner in Islamabad.
Morning free for shopping. Transfer to Islamabad International Airport for your flight home.
Note: Spring weather can be unpredictable. While March and April offer the best blossoms, temperatures vary; nights can be cold. The Khunjerab Pass excursion depends on official opening dates. Babusar Pass remains closed until June, so the KKH via Besham is used for all travel.
