Pakistan is home to some of the most extraordinary skiing terrain on earth. The Karakoram, Himalayas, and Hindu Kush ranges provide endless powder fields, glaciated slopes, and descents that few have ever attempted. Unlike commercialized resorts in the Alps, Pakistan offers untracked lines and genuine mountain adventure. Skiing here manifests in two forms: established resorts like Malam Jabba and Naltar, which serve as the cradle for Pakistan's national ski team, and elite backcountry skiing. The backcountry experience offers some of the longest descents globally, with peaks above 6,000 meters holding year-round snow. Heli-skiing operations allow access to remote glaciers and ridges that would otherwise require weeks of trekking, offering a technical and rewarding experience unmatched anywhere else in the world.
