At Alpine Karakoram Adventure, we strive to make your journey as seamless as possible.
However, organizing high-altitude expeditions and tours in Pakistan involves complex logistics, permit processing, and advance reservations. Our policies are designed to protect both your investment and our operational integrity.
Please read the following terms carefully before confirming your reservation.
To secure your spot on any K2 Expedition, Trekking Tour, or Cultural Safari, follow these steps:
Contact our team to discuss your itinerary and dates.
We will send you a formal invoice and a booking form.
A 25% advance deposit is required to confirm your booking. This allows us to immediately secure your permits, domestic flight tickets, hotel reservations, and transport logistics.
Once the funds are received, we will issue an official booking confirmation and begin the visa invitation (LOI) process.
Provisional bookings are only confirmed upon receipt of the deposit. We recommend booking at least 30 days in advance to ensure smooth permit processing.
We offer flexible payment options to facilitate international travelers.
25% of the total package price, payable via Bank Transfer (SWIFT). Bank details are provided upon request.
The remaining balance is due on the first day of your arrival in Islamabad or Skardu.
We accept payments in EUR (€) or USD ($).
If the remaining balance is not cleared by the end of Day 1, Alpine Karakoram Adventure reserves the right to cancel the services, and the deposit may be forfeited.
We understand that plans can change. Our refund policy is structured to be fair while covering the non-recoverable costs we incur on your behalf (permits, hotels, flights).
Full Refund of the advance payment is issued.
Deductions: A nominal communication service charge and any actual costs already incurred (e.g., non-refundable domestic flight tickets, permit fees paid to the government, or hotel deposits).
If you cancel within this window, we reserve the right to deduct a 15% fee from the advance to cover administrative costs, paperwork, and permit processing fees already submitted.
A 25% cancellation fee will be applied to the total package price.
Alpine Karakoram Adventure operates in some of the world's most rugged and unpredictable environments. While we prioritize safety and success, certain factors are beyond our control.
We are not liable for refunds or compensation if a trip is cancelled, altered, or cut short due to "Acts of God." This includes, but is not limited to:
It is mandatory for all clients to have comprehensive travel insurance that covers trip cancellation, medical evacuation, and high-altitude rescue to protect against these unforeseen circumstances.
